Our Lady of Families Rosary Guild 
June 2nd is the last meeting for the summer. All are welcome to participate in the guild on the 1st Sat of the month Sept - June at 9am in the learning cottage. (no meetings July or August). 

Spiritual Oasis Events 
Join us each month through June for special events and topics.  Come to one or all, as many as you can.  Meet in the Convent Chapel at 7pm – 8:15pm.  June 5th: Loving Kindness, the Joy of Serving Others!

Carnival Take Down help needed Sunday, June 17, 8am-noon  All are welcome, but a parent must accompany students younger than middle school age.  (Contact Mr. Rob at rbaranoski@ssschool.org

Ride-all-night Carnival wristbands are on sale NOW in the school office until Wednesday, June 14th at 12pm OR until all presale tickets are sold.  Advanced ticket price is $15.00; however, the day of event price is $30.00.  Coupons are available online Online coupon cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount, certificate and related items.  They are applicable only to the day of event tickets purchased for $30. If purchasing tickets in the office, bring check or exact cash only.  We do not have change.

There will be no White Elephant Room and no pets allowed.

Please note that there is limited hard surface parking on campus. Additional parking is available at the former Mt. Vista Golf Course on Raphael Road, Salem Methodist Church and Kingsville Fire Department on Bradshaw Road. Shuttle buses will take you to and from the Carnival beginning at 6pm and running to 11pm each night.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues Thursdays
Please stop in the convent to enjoy quiet prayer time with Jesus. Come as you are. Doors open between 6pm – 7:30pm. The Adoration will be cancelled on Thursday, June 14th, due to the Carnival. 

Altar Servers Needed!
The time has come to call for new servers to serve at the altar of our Lord! Now is the time to be involved and taking an active part in your faith. Young people, who have been baptized, received their first communion and will be in the fifth grade this coming fall or who are older, are now eligible to be trained to serve at the altar during the mass. Camp GLOW Companions Needed - there is a need for companions age 18 and older at Camp GLOW (God Loves Our World), a week-long residential camp for persons with disabilities sponsored by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Eagle of the Cross: Congratulations to Laura Amrhein who was another recipient from St. Stephen Parish of the Archdiocesan Eagle recognition, and nominated by The John Carroll High School. She was honored at a reception with her family and Bishop Brennan on May 16th.  Congratulations!

Quo Vadis: for young men who want Christ and the Church to be part of his life.  Join your peers to understand more deeply each of our call to holiness and to live out fully our particular vocation.  July 19-22 at Mount St. Mary’s University. Summer Mission Experience for High School Youth: If you are entering grades 9-12 in Fall of 2018, or have graduated high school in Spring 2018, we invite you to set aside some time to serve our brothers and sisters on the margins right here in our neighboring Baltimore City.  Our plan is for the week of July 30 – Aug 3. We are currently working on securing housing and worksites. If you think you would be interested in attending, and would like to reserve a spot, please contact the youth ministry office at stephenyouth@hotmail.com or 410-592-7294 by June 10.

Faith Formation

Re-registration forms for Fall 2018 have been mailed to current families, and are due back to the Parish Office by July 31 OR SOONER. Please help us plan best for next year by turning in your paperwork as soon as possible.  Classes are held from September through April on Sunday mornings for grades PreK through 8th and Tuesday evenings for 7th grade – High School.

The following guidelines apply in order to register early childhood students:
PK 3 children must turn 3 years old by 09/01/2018 and be potty trained.
PK 4 children must turn 4 years old by 09/01/2018 and be potty trained.
Kindergarten children must turn 5 years old by 09/01/2018 and be potty trained

We are looking for volunteers for our catechetical team!  Please contact Sr. Angela or Pam if you feel called to resound the Good News and share your faith with the next generation!  410-592-8666.

New to our parish? Families who have recently joined our parish and would like to register their child for Faith Formation can contact Pam Franke at 410-592-7294.

The guidelines from the Archdiocese of Baltimore require that a student MUST have regular attendance in Faith Formation for one year prior to AND the year celebrating each/any Sacrament in a Faith Formation Catechesis program or at a Catholic School. If you are interested in more information or would like a registration form, please contact Mrs. Pam Franke at 401-592-8666.

Confirmation Orientations for 2019 & 2020: Invites were emailed the first week of May. If you have not received yours, please contact Pam Franke at pfranke@archbalt.org.

Confirmation Orientation 2020: for those in grade 6-12 who are preparing for Confirmation 2020 through Remote Prep (year 1). Please see the Sign Up Genius to RSVP for the orientation to attend with candidate & a parent.
