A prayer service of remembrance
For parents who have lost a child or children through miscarriage will be held in the Convent Chapel on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7pm.  A light reception will follow. We invite you to RSVP if you are able, by April 2, so we are sure to have enough refreshments at the reception. Divine Mercy Sunday
Come join our Divine Mercy Celebration this year on Sunday April 8th.  We will be reciting the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as a community immediately following the 12:15 PM mass.   “Proclaim that mercy is the greatest attribute of God.  All the works of My Hands are crowned with Mercy” (St. Faustina Diary 301). 

Rice Bowl Collection
Please tear off the tab of your donation envelop so we can track our parish’s generous donation to Operation Rice Bowl due back April 7 & 8! Remember, donating checks or bills helps us cut the cost of having change counted.  Thank you for your understanding. New this year – you can pay online! Volunteer to help collect any Rice Bowls that are returned at Mass. Click here! Mark your calendar for a CRS Rice Bowl culminating soup dinner!  All are welcome, Friday, April 6. Moms Ministry 
Is reading and discussing the book 'Those Who Saw Her: Apparitions of Mary' by Catherine M. Odell.  We are continuing to get together on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month.  Upcoming gatherings in the Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office: April 9 & 23. Spiritual Oasis Events
Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month now through June for special events and topics. This month is April 10th. Come to one or all, as many as you can.  Meet in the Convent Chapel at 7pm – 8:15pm.  Eucharistic Adoration will continue in the Convent Chapel on Thursdays, 6pm – 7:30pm.

Community Sunday after 10:45 Mass in the Hall
Join others from the parish for some conversation and delicious refreshments in the back of th Hall right after Mass on April 15th!

ValLimar Jansen will be giving the parish mission at St. John, Long Green

Life after Loss 
Bereavement Ministry teams from our local parishes invite you and yours to join with others who mourn a loss.  Join us for opportunities to socialize, share, reflect, and pray – participate in all or some of the activities at your comfort level.  Sunday, April 22nd at St. Stephen Convent.  1:30 – 2:30pm, Doors open for refreshments at 1:15pm.  Please RSVP by April 15th to Sister Angela redsdef@comcat.net  410-592-8666.

13th Annual Kenya Day

Thank you to our generous parishioners! The Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts would like to thank our parishioners and visitors for their generous donations to our annual Food Drive. We collected approximately 2000 lbs of food and $100 in donations for the Helping Hands Pantry in Kingsville.

Theology on Tap is back for the Easter Season!
Join us at the Main Street Tower Restaurant in Belair at 29 S. Main Street.  April 9 – May 14. Meet in the downstairs lounge, entrance is in back at ground level.  7pm Happy Half Hour, 7:30 Speaker, 8pm Q&A and back to socializing!  The first speaker in our lineup is Bishop Adam Parker who will be sharing with us his thoughts on the latest Church teachings about Missionary Discipleship and what it means in our daily lives!

“On your Mark” 1mi walk/ 5 mi Trail Run
We are looking to create a team of young adults to participate in this inaugural event in honor of Youth Ministry pioneer, Mark Pacione.  Event is Saturday, April 14 at DeJon vineyard. The event will also feature an area for kids to play and include end of the day wine tasting for participants over 21 with valid ID.  Would you like to be our team captain? Service & Social Justice Committee

4/7 ServeFest - Living Proof of a Loving God: Volunteers of all ages and families are encouraged to join us for our annual ServeFest!  This year we'll be participating in the Gunpowder State Park Stream clean up at Jones Road!  April 7, 10am - 1pm. Please RSVP to Kellie if you plan to attend, and let us know the number & ages of any children who may be attending with you. Youth in grades 6-12 may participate without an adult and sign up with a youth ministry permission form. Please RSVP by April 4. 4/8 #MSYM - Middle School Youth Ministry: Youth in grades 6-8, get your permission forms in now with your choice of meeting time (9:15 or 10:45). 4/29 Kenya Day Parish Service Project: Youth are encouraged to sign up for various roles at the event or to contribute to the meal. Go to the Sign Up Genius logo on our website’s home page to see this project and sign up!

Passion Play Thank you: to Ms. Cindy Godsey for helping the teens prepare for Palm Sunday Passion Play.  We are grateful for the teens who volunteered and their families:  Clayton, Zach, Olivia, Alex, Ellie, Julia, Sarah, and Samantha.

Mother’s Day Flower Sale - Leadership Team Needed: Each Spring our parish hosts a Mother’s Day flower sale after all Masses on Mother’s Day weekend.  The event is a great way for youth to serve some time at the parish while helping to build our youth ministry budget.  We are in need of a team of adults to take over this event for 2018.  If you are interested, please contact Kellie Reynolds asap at 410-592-7294 or kreynolds@archbalt.org.  Thanks1

Congratulations: Mrs. Mary Bateman was our most recent Volunteer of the Year! You may have seen Mary over the years leading Girl Scouts, volunteering at the Mother’s Day Flower Sale, or at our Youth Ministry events, wrapping books at the Fall Festival, and more recently serving on Parish Pastoral Council . She’s been such a support to the young church – and the parish -  thank you Mary!

Faith Formation

Tuesday Night (& Sunday Morn) Faith Formation parents: Did you know the Convent Chapel is open on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for special spiritual events for parents just like you?  Please stop in from 7-8:15pm.  Mark your calendars:  4/10, 5/8, 6/5 (first Tues of June). 

Visions Grade 6 & 7 & High School Small group: will continue to meet in the Parish Center basement through April.

A Make-Up Confirmation Day is being plannedWe’ll be contacting those who were unable to have their retreat due to the wind storm.
