Saint Stephen Parish Pastoral Council
We, the parish of St. Stephen, will carry out the mission of Jesus Christ as a welcoming, worshiping, Catholic Community by sharing, growing, and living the Gospel.
What is the Parish Pastoral Council?
The parish pastoral council is a "collegial" structure that touches the lives of the parish community where the Pastor, staff, and laity come together to carry forward the mission and ministry of Christ and his Church in the parish community. Criteria for Membership:
- Baptized and confirmed member of the parish in good standing with the Church and at least sixteen years of age
- Willing and available to serve for the elected or appointed term
- Contributing member of the parish in "time, talent and treasure"
- Willing to engage in ongoing training and personal development
- Catholic whose public posture is not inconsistent with Church teaching
