Year End Fiscal 2009
Financial Reports:
On June 30, 2009, we
closed the books on Fiscal Year 2009. Like everyone
else, it was a difficult year financially for our
parish. Our income was $1,139,057. That
was approximately $33,000 less than our income for
Fiscal Year 2008. We missed our total income budget
by 6.9%. Our expenses were $1,143,204. That was
approximately $2,500 less than we spent during
Fiscal Year 2008. Our expenses included
a non-reoccurring retirement expense of $28,000 plus
$15,000 paid against our outstanding debt to the
Archdiocese. Therefore, we reduced our operating
expenses by approximately $45,000. Our operating
expenses were 5% under our budgeted amount. During
this past year, we were able to reduce
our telephone, technology, administrative, and
worship expenses. We will continue to search for
ways to minimize our costs.
We are very grateful
to our parishioners for remaining faithful to our
parish in both their deeds and financial support.
